The houses are Victorian and early 1900s brick on tighter lots than Park Hill. The neighborhood has been steadily renovated, with some infill, and it stays almost entirely residential since there is far less commercial here than on either side of it.

The blocks are residential from end to end. City Park is a short walk east, and downtown is close enough that you barely need to drive.

What to know before you buy.
Some lots here are narrower than others, so it is worth checking whether an addition or a garage is actually possible before you buy. And many of the houses that have not been updated are still running on the plumbing, wiring and furnace they were built with, which is good to know going in.
