The houses are Denver Squares, bungalows and Tudors from the 1900s through the 1930s. A lot of them have been popped or added onto over the years, so the untouched ones are getting rare.

The park has two lakes, a boathouse and a loop with people on it all day, every day. The canopy over the surrounding blocks is as complete as anywhere in the city, and Old South Gaylord carries the shops and restaurants, with South Pearl a short walk west.

The deciding question is usually whether the addition was done well. Blocks a few streets apart can be genuinely different markets, and being close to the park shows up in the price.
